About The Company
During the mid-1980s, a group of accountants at a regional CPA firm came together to discuss issues they were hearing from clients. A key issue was the one-size-fits-all payroll system that was being offered from very large outsourced payroll companies. Many businesses were dissatisfied but found themselves without an alternative.
From these discussions came a vision that became PBI Payroll, a firm that combines the stellar professional standards that clients expect with the level of customer service they crave. PBI Payroll may have begun modestly, but it has become one of the fastest growing payroll firms in the United States. PBI Payroll has been recognized for its exceptional quality and service by the American Payroll Association.
Ken Frey
Ken is the Director of Business Development for PBI Payroll. His group is responsible for providing payroll and human resource solutions to businesses in the small to mid-size market in the New York Metropolitan area. Mr. Frey has been with PBI for 15 years.
Prior to joining PBI, Mr. Frey was a Regional Sales Manager with ADP and was nationally recognized as a 10 year Presidents Club Achiever. He also managed a NY based marketing group at Price Waterhouse Coopers.
Mr. Frey earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Long Island University – CW Post. Born and raised on LI, Mr. Frey and his wife Rose have lived in Northport for the past 30 years. They have two children and five grandchildren. Mr. Frey enjoys spending time with his family, golf and traveling.
